Apollonia Kotero

Patricia Apollonia Kotero is an American actor, singer, and model. Her most well-known role was co-starring in Prince's 1984 film Purple Rain and for having been the singer in the group of girls Apollonia 6. Apollonia, a singer/actress who was christened by Prince in 1984 became one of the female artists of the 1980s who benefited from Prince. Patricia Kotero was born in Santa Monica in California in 1959. Her career started as a model during the latter part of 1970. Also, she appeared on CHiPS. She was chosen as the main female character in Prince's Purple Rain. During that period, he also changed his name. She also replaced Vanity and the duo Vanity 6 for the role. They performed together in the film under the name Apollonia 6 Sex Shooter was not a huge achievement for the group however she made a greater effect as the duet partner of Prince with Take Me with You on the soundtrack. Apollonia made her official debut in 1988. But the R&B/dance album that was pretty pedestrian and didn't impress people who were buying music at that time, quickly vanished. She continued acting (if somewhat under the radar) throughout the following decade. Her small TV roles small films and workout videos kept her active. Apollonia's Stay With Me album came out in 1997.
